About Aquamarine
Aquamarine is the blue variety of Beryl. It occurs at most localities which yield ordinary beryl.
The ancient Romans believed that aquamarine would protect against any dangers while travelling at sea, and that it provided energy and cured laziness. Aquamarine is the birth stone for March. It has a hardness of 7.5 – 8.0 on Mohs scale which makes it suitable for any kind of jewelry.
